I think I shall have to choose #3. But, if I'm being really honest, I want to vote for my shot this time, because I honestly think it is among the better ones. Needless to say, it is not #3, and it almost certainly won't win. But, I did get (joint) 3rd last time! So it is theoretically possible! :D

Still, not taking anything away from what is ultimately a good shot (#3). Why is snow popular this time around?

I don't usually go for steam trains but #4 looks pretty impressive so I'm going for that one.

Sounds like the voting's going to be reasonably spread out this week. I've struggled with deciding though, I've not seen an absolute clear winner this week which is odd. Out of the selection, 14 is my favourite for some unknown reason. Obviously, I've voted it in.

Doh! Completely forgot about entering this competition ....

Anyway, I've voted for #11 as I think it's the best picture there, but ....

The people who took photos #2, #9, #10 and #13 deserve effort points for trying something different, just a shame they didn't quite work out.

The rest I would class as "album-fillers". IE A photo taken just to record what was happening while the photographer was at the station.

It's hard to know what to enter sometimes. Do you go for some unusual working, a slightly different look at an everyday scene, an everyday scene that people will recognise...You see where I'm going with this I'm sure.

In the same breath, that's what makes this POTW interesting, and what allows many of us to actually enter. If this was a proper photography competition, I suspect we'd have little activity!

I went for 14, there was something about it, but well done to all entrants, there were some good shots up there!

Well done curly42, and thanks for the two who voted for me (takes my total number of votes for my three POTW comps to 4! :D).

Aha, I came third! :D Although trailing by a considerable amount behind first and second. Well done to curly42.

Well done curly42. I see my shot of a 185 on a Middlesbrough service at Darlington didn't appeal. Never mind, the winner's shot was a deserved victory!

So we've had WCML, ECML, I wonder if we'll have GWML next...!
