Number 4 here due to the colour of the train against what appears to be the night sky. The platform lighting also adds to the picture.

To the owner of no. 1, that's a DVT, not a 91. That said, it's also got my vote.

It's been a while since I've seen a photo of the "Sealink" coaches and been reminded of just how bright a splash of colour they were, so credit to whoever has entered that shot. Some rateable traction up front as well (I wouldn't say that 430 was a "monster" in 37 terms, but I do really like 37/4s in general)!

As it stands, I'm going to vote for number 2.

I like number 1 very much. But I think credit has to be given to number 7 for doing an excellent job at making that livery look reasoably nice! Great job!

I was going to enter this competition, but completely forgot I had a suitable photo!

Attached is the picture I would have entered.

Congrats EltonRoad, a fine shot. I just don't like your choice of theme that much  ;)

Thanks. Good to get some value from a shot that was otherwise marred by the advertising.

Sorry if you don't like my theme - half of my shots are taken from up cliffs so I guess I'm being a bit selfish there.

As long as it's from above, it could be from an over bridge.

Don't worry mate, I didn't mean it in a bad way, it's your choice to be honest, I try to be fiendish with mine

So, are we OK if say it is taken from a station or road overbridge?

Thanks. Probably true of most of my shots. I'm often aiming for a "train in the landscape" effect.
