Darn, it's just going to have to be number 8. Number 14 runs it a close second, and I also really like numbers 4 and 19. Overall, there are many top entries here chaps!

Number 7 looks like how I sometimes see the Grand Central services arriving at Sunderland station, when either hungover or drunk!

Some excellent entries this week - will take a while to pick the best of them I think!

Interesting choice this week, #14 is a poignant shot of the infamous Boothy's establishment but #'s 21 & 22 took my imagination. opted for #21 .... its just so arresting if you stare at it too long ..... !!

I'm kicking myself, I had a shot of an EC 91 that would've fitted perfectly into this competition, but I decided against it. Wasn't confident enough. :(

Nonetheless, Number 8 is a cracker. My vote all the way!

for me its number 14 that is just out of this world in my opinion. Well done to whoever took that!

Thanks for those that voted for my photo, TBH I didn't expect to win.
A good standard of entries entered and I thought 14 or 21 would have won it hands down.

Lots of intresting photos but the question that i wanna know is: WHO LET THE BABY DRIVE A TRAIN! picture 10, well i'm guessing he's born to be a engine driver

He's not a baby, he's three years old! He could tell you where the compressor was, and how to work an injector before he knew what his elbow was. ;)

Kids aren't stupid, they don't have to be told that the fire is hot, or the open gangway requires care on a moving footplate, only adults need that sort of guidance!

Well done, you beat me by just one vote!

Mine was out of the back of a 455 with an exposure of around half a second, it is one of a series and I'll link to the full size images when I get home. (Still not been home since the WMDR meet on Thursday)!

Very close runner up, it has to be said.

Look forward to seeing the full size shots as after talking to you on the WMDR, it sounds like seeing it full size could be quite interesting :)
