Great selection of shots this week folks.
Number 5 wins it for me, interesting to have a photo with a main focus on the road, rather than the train.

I'm going to have to vote for number 2, for the near perfect reflection of the train and viaduct in the River Nidd. I also thought that numbers 4 (Nice sunset), 6 (A part of the network that doesn't seem to get much attention from photographers) and 13 (For the "flow" of the trackwork) were worthy contenders.

Many thanks everyone. I reckon No4 was a very worthy second!! A most impressive shot and I was very tempted to vote for it myself :D The light on both train, viaduct and mountain is superb

Congrats wensley! That's a great location and the lighting is very nice, as is the reflection. In the event of a tie do the staff cast a vote?

Cheers :D I tracked the spot down a few weeks before that shot for a 20 and saloon, luckily the light co-operated and despite a few cock ups from Network Rail the train ran. The ducks behaved and there were no ripples as the train crossed the viaduct. Its one I'm going to have in my top 15 for this year I think (they'll be on Flickr soon) Thanks again
