Have to agree that not much stands out. I would have liked to vote for number 11,but unfortunately nothing in the picture says "railway" - they could be a bunch of twitchers for all I know. 3,6 and 9 strike me as shots of locos that just happen to have people in them. 1 and 8 are too poor in quality,10 is something or nothing. 2 holds little interest and 4 is too wide a shot to be effective.
So,it's down to 5 and 7,both of which,I feel,fit the category - and of the two it's number 7 which I find more satisfying,featuring the whole loco.
So,that's my vote - number 7. Pity about that number 11 tho'.

I feel the lack of brilliant images is probably down to the fact that we rarely go out of our way to take pictures of other railfans, thereby most of these shots are either accidental, or very "spur of the moment".

The competition only opened on Monday as far as I can see. Whether it will be cut short to be called on Sunday or run for a full 7 days I guess is the choice of the co-ordinators.

My photo - no idea, possibly sat on a BRUTE trolley which weren't always that clean.
I was more intrigued by what the two traincrew coming towards me were saying to each other.
