While I was at Doncaster today, I spotted trains from 9 different TOC's (Excluding EWS and Freightliner). Can anyone tell me what they were?

GNER
MML
Hull Trains
Virgin XC
Northern
Central
TransPennine Express
Silverlink
Scotrail

All the usual suspects yes. I got the original post wrong. It should of read excluding all freight operators.

Now which TOC's had "guest units" running to and from Doncaster?

That's one of the "guest units". What was working a Doncaster - Hull service?

Silverlink and scotrail.

However I don't think either TOC owns these units. Very few TOCs own any trains, the vast majority (ie almost all) are leased from ROSCOs. When they go off-lease the ROSCO won't arrange for them to be repainted unless another TOC requests it.
