Complimentary food from Avanti in First Class? (Weekends)

Hello all,
I might get an Avanti upgrade tomorrow to first class. Do you get complimentary food from Coach C? I know you get limited selection from the first class area, but what about the shop?

I travelled (from Crewe to Manchester) on Avanti last month and was served a snack at-seat.

I found it interesting that the first-class hosts were doing their job but I didn't get a ticket check!

If it's a Pendolino then the First Class complimentary items would be served by a host, although I think on voyagers you often have to go to the shop.

No you have to pay for items from the shop.

Voyager shops are also closed due to lack of social distancing. For now there should be an at seat service in 1st on all pendolino/voyager trains. Staff/stock permitting.

Thanks, I went on Virgin in 2016 and the ship was free then.

Is that still rotating then? I was under the impression it was currently a fixed menu offering.

Yeah current offering Mon-Fri is the ham/egg sandwich, cheese and crackers or the chickpea salad and the hot options are sausage roll or veg focaccia.

Travelled from BHI to EUS last Sunday Night and got a picnic box - The Ham and Egg sandwich was quite nice. Son had cheese and crackers picnic box.

Pop and Tea/Coffee also provided.
