Hi, was just wondering whether contactless travel from St Pancras to Luton Airport Parkway is permitted on EMR, and, if so, what the fee would be?

It's the same fare as on Thameslink. Apparently the gate line at St. Pancras is not set up for contactless, and you have to ask to use the Oyster validators installed for Thameslink diversions.

Geoff Marshal did a video on it:

That is no longer true - I used the gateline no problem with Contactless on 16 May - it may be that this has been changed for the enhanced service.

I agree that people used to be directed to the stand alone validators.

The gateline has worked for contactless only for quite a while. There are also OSIs with the Thameslink gateline as well as the Underground.
