I've got a double tender Flying Scotsman (R075) and was thinking of upgrading it a little bit. Its a tender driven model and thought about removing the motor from the tender and putting one in the loco (as well as adding sprung buffers).
How would you go about doing this and is it worth doing on a model this old and valued? I can run it tender driven fine, was even thinking about putting it in a glass case for show.View attachment 48260
