Then the Night Riviera at 21.45 to take everyone home
Total time 12 Hrs 58 mins on a one day Ride Cornwall ticket (anyone travelling from Pz on the 0844 would have to buy a ticket as far as Camborne! (before the 9am start of the 'Ride Cornwall' ticket ,about £3 for adult with D&C Railcard obviously cheaper for U-16's)
Did it last year, took 13 hours and 1 minute, will report back after next Monday after the event;)
(Its the start of 2 weeks holiday you see for me)

To be pedantic, I would point out that you don't technically do all possible NR passenger lines on that itenary as you don't go to Coombe Junction Halt! ;)

Yes it's a shame. !0:50 am is the latest time of day that you can set foot at Coombe. Good Luck with your journey.

Technically and pedantically, you can start your journey at St. Budeaux Ferry Road, so you cover the line from over The Royal Albert Bridge and from Bere Alston to cover the line within Cornwall as you cross the Tamar over the Calstock viaduct to cover the line within God's Own Duchy to Gunnislake. But the Devonians (spits on the floor) will make you connect to these services at Plymouth.

I did a search of covering all lines west of Plymouth a few days ago, both starting at Penzance and Plymouth. Starting at Plymouth is the better option than Penzance. Unfortunately, the XL file that I kept the journey is at work (don't tell my boss) but I'll post my itinerary later tomorrow. Looking forward to your trip reports and Please Please Please, smile at Lelant station (NOT THE SALTINGS <() as you pass, and I hope the tide is in as you pass the Hayle estuary, it's at it's best then. ;)

Included as an attachment is the XL form I use for all line coverage west of Plymouth. Hope you find some use for it.

Out on time back on time, but only did Gunnislake, Looe and Newquay lines, due to the seemingly ONLY FGW HST all day being on time (Padd-Newquay) so it didn't completely happen, never mind good day out though, always next summer ;)

The surprise LE 57 and China Clay 66 made up for it though :)

The rest was completed (with the elusive HST to Newquay) and trips to Falmouth and St Ives on 13.8.2013. So it was Cornwall in 2 Days this time around ;)

Did you record Unit numbers ? As poster on this board pointed out only recently, many people view these with great interest. On FGW, especially, whethet a 150/1 or 150/2 is another help to followers of trip details.

66075 was on China Clay duties, 57605 was Light Engine, bound for Westbury to recover that problem FGW power car and 150249 was doing the Newquay branch. Other than those, nope.
