Hi,

Ive had reports (and a freind has viewed) a Cotswold HST is on the 1421 Brum to Penzance. This probably needs confirming as I have no ID's, but it sounds like real gen.

Ta,
James.

Twas'nt a rumor!!! The CR HST did run. I was told it was a test run (thanks for the Heads-up TM! 8) , but it came belting through Yate south-bound, at approx 1530. Hornby 43087 leading, with an ex-MML set, CR buffet and 43070 trailing.

Sh*t! Didnt realise it was in service, or id have gone down to Parkway and got a ride to Exeter or or summint

I videoed it in the end, (conditons wernt very suitable for stills) and ive uploaded the video to my Google vidm account. Itll be live abit later on.

In the meantime, heres a few 'shots' (scuse the quality, they are screen shots from the Video)

Are you sure this was in service? There seems to be a lot of confusion over the matter :?

No, It defo wasn't in service. it was on a test run to bristol.

There was only one HST today and that was the 07.05 plymouth leeds, with a MML set.

There wont be, as its a class 5, unless its Cotswold Staff. If it was in service there would have been many posts on SWRG and RG and Such like

Damn, didn't see those 43s in Tyseley the other day. Did see the CR buffet though, as well as other MML MK3s, but the 43s I needed to see!

Let us know when the vid is ready spm, I can't wait to see that!

I saw a full MML HST set at Chelts yesterday at 0953 heading south, also saw the Hornby HST PC, an U'id coach and the Cotswold HST PC leaving Tysley at 1215.

Sorry its taken so long chaps, but google where having a re-organise of the site, adding more features etc. (note the left hand 'sidebar'). You can now download some of the vidoes (the more recent ones) and link them to your website if you want to (again, the more recent ones)! My videos are back online now, and so's my CR HST one:
