Many people will still find it incredible about the costs of making the curve bi directional. There appears very little desire within NR to make this happen and thus quote telephone number quotes for this to happen. Infrastructure costs are beyond the comprehension of the ordinary person. Thank god we have Engineers who can build small swathes of railway at horrendous costs.

we have to live with one "supposed not for profit" Company NR
the sole profit centre for rail infrastructure costings. with all respect to Planner.
