HST power car. Points failed by the sounds of it.

The Edinburgh Evening News reports that four Virgin trains are trapped, resulting in an impact on services.

A number of Virgin Trains East Coast services between Edinburgh and King’s Cross and King’s Cross and Leeds have been cancelled following the derailment at the Craigentinny depot.

Four Virgin trains are trapped in the depot as a result, with hopes the derailed train will be moved today to allow normal service to resume on Wednesday.

Because it was an operational incident!! No secrecy but yet again I expect many pages of weeping over not being given full information including the driver,guard, who cleaned the bogs for no reason whatsoever.

It's possibly been issued as that whilst the situation was still pretty new. There's no conspiracy to put out dodgy information.

Pretty serious earth fault but the BRUFF was on the case to get it back on the rails.
