The tickest for the basford Hall shuttle sold out very early. I wasn't too bothered about that but if you are, get there early!
That was the main reason for my trip yesterday, arrived at 1030 at the Heritage centre annd the first queue was long, after playing £5.00 to get in, then queued up for the Basford Hall your quickly as i could, it was roughly 11 got to the front end and an man told us to gather roud first, then he told us that this tour would be the last, the Yard isn't fully opened to the public and they wouldn't be lots of locos
I refused to walk away after getting this far (i seen pictures of people's photos at Basford Hall Yard around this time last year and always wanted to take photos in Basford Hall yard this was my 1st visit), so i got my ticket and had 4 Hours to kill before the tour started
once it was 3pm, walked to the front and waited for the bus to arrive, it lleft at 1530 and got to Basford Hall Yard, got enough time to film and take photos of the yard, but even know there was four tours, there was an fifth tour! but even know i didn't had long there, i managed to enjoy my time at Basford Hall Yard
I heard other people saying that they were standing on Grass and there was ony 8 locomotives but but i saw roughly about 18 Locomotives and some of them were DRS Class 37 and Class 20's from Grestly Bridge, there was an DBS Class 66 in the yard and evenn two Class 70's! (70001 and 70006)
