Hello all

Anybody here work at Leicester XC as driver?

Is it 4 day week, how many nights and nights away?
What are the core routes and traction?
What is employer justified retirement age and how does this apply to XC?
How many Saturdays, are rest days in a block etc?
Is it a good company? Would you recommend?

Any answers much appreciated thanks in advance.

Ejra is where you retire at your state pension retirement age. There's no option to continue working past that age.

Leicester is just 170 work. There are no nights away or lodging turns at XC.

I believe the Leicester driver routes cover Birmingham to Cambridge.
Cambridge drivers cover Leicester - Stansted so there is an overlap, but I may be wrong on that. I thnk there's depots at Birmingham, Leicester and Cambridge only.

Remember too that it's ex-Central Trains, and thus any EMT drivers around the Midlands may be of help too.

- sign 170’s only
- They sign
Leicester - New Street
New Street - Derby (and stenson diversion)
Derby - Nottingham
Nottingham - Leicester on MML for ECS
Tysley carriage sidings/small heath

I was suprised to find out they don’t go east at all
