I know right, I find that vinyl stickers don’t have the same effect as the proper nameplates do. Looks quite good on a turbo starIs that a cast name plate? Looks like it from the photo albeit can't see the screw holes, if it is wow, looks far better than painted on.
I was thinking when I saw it that if I were from Leicester I'd be hoping we could do better than a TurbostarIs a Class 170 the sort of thing that would create a sense of pride amongst the Leicesterians? I doubt it but if I’m wrong all I can say is that some people are easily pleased.

The XC Turbostar fleet has been maintained at Tyseley, with minor servicing at Cambridge Coldhams Lane, and Nottingham Eastcroft. Until a few weeks ago the XC 170s stabled in the station area overnight but XC have signed a contract with UKRL to service them on Beal Street depot overnight.Is a Class 170 the sort of thing that would create a sense of pride amongst the Leicesterians?
