Would that be at Landore? I can't say I know the area well, but road access to Landore seems very tight to me. I've been working in Swansea for 12 years, travelling in via Fabian Way and the M4 from the East and I've never previously seen any rolling stock on the back of a lorry (plenty of wheels though). Today not only did I see 43321 on Fabian Way, but I saw a bogie coal hopper on the M4 near the Pyle junction too!
Edit to add, and I did think it was looking particularly grubby :)
I would presume so. Sorry I cannot comment more, I'm not familiar enough with Swansea to say.

Yes, going to Landore for repaint. Chrysalis Rail are doing the five Porterbrook power cars whilst they are stopped for major exams. The Angel five are going through Wabtec for repaints currently as well.

Lucky to have HST on 1S55 tonight.

I wonder why that was - JourneyCheck shows 1S51 (Plymouth to Edinburgh given the COVID-19 situation) as an 8-coach Voyager til Newcastle. Maybe the capacity of the HST wasn't needed north of Newcastle on this occasion.

There was a fault with one of the power cars, so the set worked 1S55 instead.

Classic. 1S51 is 20 odd late due to a set fault.

Reported on JourneyCheck yesterday as terminated at Exeter St. David's. Re-started from Bristol Temple Meads as a 4-coach Voyager.

3rd time lucky for XC hopefully!

These two are HSTs, the second one fits your criteria the best.

Edit: These are the returns.

Is it still these services running as hsts? Need to make a trip to devon next week

Does anyone have any information regarding which trains are likely to be HSTs on Saturday 15 August or Monday 17 August?

My usual method is to check out the seating plan, but the abolishment of seat reservations means that trick doesn't work! ;)

Edit: Just to clarify i am asking if anyone has any info about these dates specifically; I know the regular diagrams :)

Many thanks in advance :)

Saturdays can vary.
Mondays tend to be the following:

06:11 Leeds to Plymouth and 12:27 Plymouth to Edinburgh.
06:06 Edinburgh to Plymouth and 15:27 Plymouth to Leeds.

I would say 1V44 and 1V52 tend to be a good bet for Saturday's. They do vary though. As above for Monday to Friday.

Saturday 'should' be
1V44 06:11 Leeds to Plymouth
1V52 07:02 Edinburgh to Plymouth
1S51 12:27 Plymouth to Edinburgh
1E67 16:27 Plymouth to Leeds

Monday will be the usual 2 diagrams. 1V44/1S51 and 1V50/1E63.

Hi all - does anyone know which services might be booked for HSTs this Sunday (2nd Aug)? I appreciate they are all subject to change.
The last two Sundays it has been just a single return from Leeds to Plymouth and back. (0811 from Leeds and 1427 return).

43321 has been repainted at Landore and is en route to Plymouth on the back of a truck.

Does anyone know which working are planned to be HSTs on Bank Holiday Saturday (29th Aug)? The usual services are currently shown as going to Paignton instead of Plymouth but XC havn't released tickets yet.
