I think it is the previous CS screen above the gateline

Maybe - as others have mentioned I think it is only temporary. The Underground platform info on the Central line is dire - the boards are quite faded and often just downright incorrect. Plus if you want to change, sometimes its go to have the info available if you're coming off a National Rail service.

At Ealing Broadway, they’ve knocked down the old waiting room by the stairs and the new one looks pretty ready to go but won’t be open until “late September 2021”
