The plan is to slap the Met on the DC lines from Watford High Street.

The class 313s currently operating on the DC lines have a max speed of 75mph, but max speed on the line itself is 45mph, which the Bakerloo stock can easily reach negating the requirement of 313s operating.

The Victoria Line stock will have trailers nicked from and inserted into trains to form trains and I presume they plan to take the trailer DMs can refurbish them into a normal environment so we effectively have a formation as follows (first is current, latter is new formation):

ADM - TC - TC - DDM - UNDM - TC - DDM
ADM - TC - TC - UNDM - TC - TC - DDM or
ADM (67TS modified) - TC - TC - UNDM - TC - TC - DDM

I guess they'd increase acceleration potential on the units as well, by regearing the traction motors.

Aaaaand... the Met will run services on the Bakerloo between Watford High Street and Watford Junction mate. ;)

Well get out your cards and play a game of patience, as it'll be a long time yet! It'll certainly be after the S stock is introduced.

but the Met via Croxley has to stop at all stations as far as Harrow on the Hill anyway, so it still won't be very quick, will it?

I believe the plan is to add a ladder crossover east of Moor Park for some fast services.

apparently there are plans in coming years to extend the Bakerloo line to Watford Junction with the decommisioning of the current victoria line stock 67s & 72s some of these will be inherited by the Bakerloo to run the extension.
