As no one has responded, I'll add a second cryptic clue for the same station as above.

These Islamic icons have separated. One of them is a little off and is now attached to an Escort.

Salford Crescent?

The crescent being one of the icons, the Ford possibly being a Ford Escort, though I can't work out which bit of Sal needs changing so it becomes Salford. If that makes sense...

Salford Crescent is correct.

From the first clue:

"I think I heard Ra" - Sal is pronounced Sol, Sol is the name of the sun or Ra (the sun god) = SAL
"drift in South Africa" - Drift is a synonym for a ford in South African English = FORD
"before meeting" - Salford comes before...
"Selene in shadows" - Selene is a moon goddess. A crescent is when the moon is covered by shadow = CRESCENT

From the second clue:

You're correct.
The Islamic icons are the Crescent and the Star. In this case, the star is the sun/Sol (which is Sal, but a little off, and attached to the Ford "Escort") and those combined are separate from Crescent giving SALFORD CRESCENT.

I've only recently started solving cryptic crosswords, so apologies if my attempts at clues don't completely follow the rules.

Well done Perryman, you're up.

Thank you. I'm fairly new here and have come to the conclusion that there are no rules, and that's not a bad thing...

Gardens are found almost everywhere, just not in the wild.

Piggybacking on Plymothian's guess, Edinburgh Park?

Edin might be pronounced similar to Eden, burghs (towns) are found almost everywhere, and parks are generally quite manicured and not very wild.

It's not Edinburgh Park.

Small aid to get you off the park/wood type names: this station name is one word only.

Skewen?

News.ke

Correct, as almost always, Skewen is the answer.

Clue 1: Anagram of Gardens (Kew) are found almost everywhere, just not in the wild (N,E,S but not West)
Clue 2: Anagram of news and the Korean internet designation .ke

Well done @plymothian, and the floor is yours.

Well done @plymothian, and the floor is yours.

I had considered Skewen for the original clue on the basic of Kew, but couldn't align it to the not in the wild part of the clue.

The reason it's so bracing.

Stockport.

Cooking vessel is stockpot, with the r from rhubarb inserted accordingly.

If that's correct can the floor be open, please.
