I was wondering if they were doubling the Boston work but I can't see any more than the usual one a day to/from Boston, maybe the second loco is acting as a 'thunderbird' in case of any problems, I'm also wondering when 028 will get its first trip out

Four 60s and the pair of 56s are a bit like winning the lottery after all those problems with one 56 trying to cope with the Kingmoor work in leaf fall season, it's going to be interesting to see where the planned work is coming from

Yes, I was rather disappointed with the Rail magazine report, it really didn't say anything new at all. I did find a link to a pdf file a while back which was a list of aggregate handling sites owned by various companies and which showed Cappagh, but the only mention of them I could find was the Godstone site which isn't rail served any longer, no idea if it could be rail served again either physically or with the neighbours agreement, I guess we'll just have to be patient

Whatever the 1546 6Z20 Chaddesden to Kingmoor was intended to be it was cancelled, presumably 60046 will be at Chaddesden for the time being while 60055 takes over Kingmoor to Boston duty with tonights 2208 6Z56

Not a lot on at all and according to Rail Record that Lincoln is a Colas job, sounds like a route learning and tea drinking week ahead ....

Strange it doesn't show any other locos in prior to it leaving obviously another stp to be arranged if it's a colas job.

60046 is heading north today as 0910 0Z60 Chaddesden to Kingmoor via York and Durham, theoretically it could be working 0021 Kingmoor to Humberstone Road and 1511 return tomorrow then 0021 Kingmoor to Humberstone Road and Chaddesden on friday which are currently scheduled

It seems that the Angerstein work may well have finished, at least for the time being, as RTT are showing schedules next week and onwards for GBRf operating daily 1051 Doncaster Down Decoy to Angerstein and 2300 Angerstein to Scunthorpe Roxby Gullet Q services

60036 currently working 6Z49 carlisle yard to willesden dcr.

Very odd, 6Z21 cancelled for 'a delay not investigated' according to RTT, does that mean 046 has failed again? why else would a DBC 60 be working 6Z49? and what is 6Z49 with a trailing load of only 400 tonnes?

Aha, I think I've answered my own question, RTT is now showing a 1510 6Z02 Willesden DC to West Ealing Plasser and 1643 0Z60 return to Willesden

Glad you were wrong, no more failures wanted :)

I'm not sure what these Humberstone Road schedules are about, maybe something that's due to happen some time in the future or a plan that's not come to fruition, as always it'll come out in the wash

60055 in Carlisle for the normal Kingmoor to Boston job tonight

There's another path on RTT for friday Plasser back to Willesden, not sure what the reason would be for the two moves though, if they take place of course ..

Looking at the schedules, I would deduce the original moves were;
6Z49 Carlisle - Willesden Wed
Thurs Trip to W Ealing - wagons for maintenance? Looks like this changed at short notice to Wed.
Fri collect & Rtn to Willesden.

These are similar wagons to those moved by DCR to & from Westbury with the 2x20's Nov/Dec 2019.

Interesting reading on DCR facebook this evening, as well as the full statement regarding the further order for wagons from VTG it mentions the increased capacity that the 60s have brought, from hauling around 18 wagons with the 56s it was increased to 21 and now this week 24 have been introduced giving an actual load of 1800 tonnes, it certainly shows the benefits of investing in the 60s

Just one loco in use today with 60055 working last nights 6Z56 Kingmoor to Boston and this evenings 6Z57 return

Todays Willesden to West Ealing was cancelled after it became 6Z50 overnight and so, as the load was already at Plassers, was not required

60046 made its way back today as 0Z60 1300 Bristol BH WRD to Chaddesden while the (recently) usual sunday 1538 6Z55 Chaddesden to Kingmoor was cancelled this evening

Currently scheduled for tomorrow are an 0412 0Z62 Chaddesden to Willesden making 0Z61 Willesden to West Ealing Plasser, a 1328 0Z60 Toton TMD to Chaddesden and 1546 Chaddesden to Kingmoor

Info from WNXX suggests that 50008, which failed a couple of weeks ago, suffered a main generator field to earth fault, which as we all know is um er ..... :s

We obviously went on the same course together :D

Both 60046 and 60055 made up 0412 0Z62 Chaddesden to Willesden this morning, thanks to Tom on the allocations thread for the confirmation

RTT is now showing one (0Z61) to West Ealing Plasser and one (6Z40)to Angerstein Wharf

1328 0Z60 Toton TMD to Chaddesden is also showing, could this be the debut for 60028?
