This evening had a pleasant journey up to Manchester, only later to be delayed due to late running connection run by Northen. It was the return leg of a off-peak return though to a local station (Atherton). The cost of the "leg" was therefore (94.50/2) + 25 = £72.25. Am I within my rights for the compensation to be based on this number? How does one claim as I don't think any of the options on Northen's Delay Repay form look like they can cope with this?
One thing to note, my supplement for standard premium says London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly ... but the delay was after Manchester (which the off peak return, presented to the Train Manager when purchasing showed Atherton).
