G'day,

Are there any websites which list depot allocations from years a go? For instance a list of locos allocated to Tinsley in 1983? You get the general idea! I was a keen spotter way back then before other pursuits gained ascendency and all my Platform 5 spotters books were binned many years a go.

Thanks in advance,

Richmond Commuter!

Well thats a great start. Thanks very much.

If there's anything that you specifically want then note it here and I'll try and find time to look it up in my stock books from the time or RCTS, Midland Railfans etc. publications.

The DY allocation when i stopped spotting in 1984 would be fantastic. I know that sounds daft but I was born in Derby!

27 class 08s according to the 1984 'Platform 5' book

There were several DMUs based there (mainly class 120).
