Derailed freight train on Hope Valley line?

It's the shortest route between the two cities and could be the fastest by if reopened.

Would it be now?
Since Sheffield Victoria no longer exists as a useful site for a station/connections and a reversal is required at Nunnery and because the north end of Sheffield( Midland) station is congested and could not cope with more traffic.

On Sundays in the 70's the time was faster to the site of Victoria but the subsequent reversal to access Midland took an age. The Hope valley line is also faster nowadays.

Must be something in the air!

Another freight train as derailed just outside Exeter St David's, on the Waterloo lines!!
