Propelling Control Vehicles at Hellifield:
94302/303/306/323/326/333

There are also vehicles 94495/504/527/546 present.

Propelling Control Vehicles at Willesden:
94310/311/313/337/338

There are also vehicles 94153/410/427/445/450/451/492, and 95727/761 present.

Propelling Control Vehicles can also be found at Carnforth (94308/322/332), Crewe LNWR (94335/336), Millerhill (94304) and Toton (94316/317/344).
Reading the list you've provided it seems like a lot of these vehicles are still in existence.
Roughly how much of the original fleet do these make up do you think?

Ok. The actual vans that formed the main part of the trains were basically BGs with roller shutter doors then, is that right?
Yeah, my recollections are growing hazy but I believe that the "Super BGs" with their roller shutter doors were the norm, particularly in TPO formations. There were also similarly converted "Super GUVs" for parcels traffic, recognisable with their shorter bodies and straight sides.

Ah yes the Super GUV. I just sold one of those on eBay (it wasn't full sized).

Ah, Hornby product, or Lima? :D
I thought it was Bachmann in all over blue with 'Express Parcels' on the side, but I'm questioning myself now?
I've got an Intercity Swallow liveried Lima one that'll be going in the next couple of weeks.
Not up to the quality of the other model, but you could probably drop it down the stairs and not suffer any damage.

As you've sold one recently I assume that you're correct, I lose track of who has produced what these days.

Lima models certainly always give the impression of being virtually indestructible haha.

If it was blue or IC liveried it wasn’t a Super GUV. The “Super” conversions were in Res livery and had roller shutter doors fitted.

That's a good point, just a bog standard GUV in that case. Had a feeling that Bachmann hadn't modelled the "Super' variant but hadn't made the connection that they'd also be in RES livery by default!

I know I'm a bit late to this, but I didn't think it was worth starting another thread.
Anyways, do you know (out of 94410, 94427, 94450, and 94429) which 3 of these MK1 NBAs are the 3 visible from the WCML in the same line as the Propelling Control Vehicles?
Thanks in advance
