I'm thinking of going to Didcot in the summer. As I have an interest in the AEC railcar and the Gas Turbine loco I emailed them last week with reference to this. No reply as yet. I then left a message on thier Facebook page, still no reply. Is it thier policy not to reply to enquiries?

The GWR Society is open most days but hold more active days about once a month or when some special subject is being celebrated. You need only turn up, pay your money and have a look around. I'm sure that there will be someone around who can give explanation of any particular subject that may interest you.

Its a good place Didcot, lots to see - definitely go when they have something on as theres always a lot of loco movements up and down

Not so easy to get into on non-operating days currently, you have to ring up and ask to get through the gate.
