For anyone interested, Sunday 28th August is a diesel day at the Downpatrick and County Down Railway. Please note, although this is not a gala, diesel traction will be running the normal summer timetable between Downpatrick and Inch stations in place of the usual steam service.
Intended traction for the day is General Motors 141 class 146 and newly repainted Metro Vick A class A39r (first time in passenger service since July 2015).
Doors open at 13:30 and the first departure is 14:00, last departure 17:00.
