I was in Lewisham and decided to renew my bus pass on Oyster which is which is discounted. However like the LOROL TVM's, the DLR ones only let you renew full price Adult passes.
Fortunately Lewisham has an old style card only LUL POM next to the Southeastern ticket office which I was able to renew the pass, yet there appears to be nothing that will allow discounted users to buy those passes using the standard DLR or LO TVM's.
