Hi all, I've decided to take up railway photography now that I have a decent camera and lens to use. It's my first time doing this other than a couple quick snaps with my phone in the past, so any advice and tips are appreciated.

I had a trip down to Tyseley today, but I woke up too late to see a 68 from Chiltern. Still, it was a nice day out and I really enjoyed it.

Went up to Stafford this afternoon to take some photos, it seems luck was on my side as 345014 stopped by, along with a few freight workings too.

I spent some time today down at Olton and Widney Manor stations, and I'm pretty happy with the shots that I got from there. I'll certainly be returning to Widney Manor, as it's such a nice location to get some good photos.
