Dept of Transport have published updated figures on support costs to TOCs upto Feb 21
https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...ger-rail-operators-under-emergency-agreements
Most TOCs run rate in January 21 comparable with April 20 lockdown but GWR , XC & AWC have lower costs presumably due to better ridership. Commuters operators much the same support costs.
Bottom line is £7B has been expended so far in the 20/21 financial year. Given treasury have only provided 2.1B for EMRAs for 21/22 financial year there could be a day of reckoning coming if ridership doesn't recovery massively following 21st June.
