Grand Central also have some discounts for large group bookings, but they run less services
I too would think that chartering a coach could be more cost-effective and provide privacy for the group.
You get no table seats,
usually worse ventilation, possible travel sickness,
no on-board catering or snack trolley etc.

There are plenty of 49- or 51-seaters around.
Typically those group deals made through Group Travel in Tocs only offer around 10% off however for such a large number it might be worthwhile giving ECT a call?

Allows for groups of between 3 and 9 34% Advance fares - so if the group can be split this may be a better deal.
Alternatively for such a large number how much would chartering an executive coach cost?
She did look at a coach but they need to be there overnight so it then starts to get expensive and they can travel of peak so train should be cheaper.

I looked on east coast website last night which allows her to book up to 9 at a time and that turned out at £135 or £15 each so she's going to try that even if it goes up for some still a good average.
