Dore - April Sundays after Easter

Seen a poster that says EMT Nottingham-Liverpool trains during the Dore engineering works will be bypassing Sheffield. I presume they will be joining the hope valley at the Dore curve. Anyone know how much time is saved by missing Sheffield?

Hi mate. Have a look at the following info which should hopefully answer your question... In essence missing Sheffield out would cut 20mins off journey times.

The map shown in this article about the Hope Valley line shows Hazel Grove on the wrong line and the label links the chord to the closure of Manchester Central.
