Thanks, what is the future of 37038? When is 37607 going to be in traffic? Are 37667, 682 and 688 going to be stored, if so when? Are 37412 and 683 going to be scrapped? Are DRS not going to off lease more 66s to other freight operators?
Dang, I'm desperate to see 47709 so I guess I'll have to find a way to get over there and see it. However, It's good to see that there are so many 37s either undergoing overhaul or facing a possible overhaul.
Thanks for the list Sam
Care to update the status of the DRS fleet again soon.
37607 has been moved to crewe in the DRS compass livery so it should enter traffic soon meaning 37038 is the only serviceable 37 left in the old DRS livery.
And according to www.wnxx.com, a picture of 37683 at Derby is showing it on the rails in almost good condition as if it travelled by rail than by road
37607 and all the 3 57/3s have all entered traffic.
They haven't entered traffic as such yet. 37607, as of yesterday, was still on Gresty Bridge but is now in the XHNC pool (General/Nuclear locos).
57302, 57304 and 57309 are now in the XHAC pool (ETS fitted locos).I believe 57304 went to Crewe LNWR last week for tyre turning, but I haven't heard of any report for 57302. 57309 though had already entered traffic when it travelled to York in June but yesterday it was on Greater Anglia thunderbird duties around Stowmarket.
Hope this helps, Sam
57302 hauled the Cruisesaver stock from Crewe to Glasgow on Monday http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/7923961152/I believe 57304 went to Crewe LNWR last week for tyre turning, but I haven't heard of any report for 57302. 57309 though had already entered traffic when it travelled to York in June but yesterday it was on Greater Anglia thunderbird duties around Stowmarket.
This apparently isnt true. A rumour im afraid. So it'll no doubt get cut up along with the A stock, as and when.
What is the current status of 37/4 overhauls & scrapping?
