It seems that 57302 & 57311 have been moved into the XSDP pool now taking it up to 23 locos

37703 (or in its alter ego 37067) is regularly used at Bo'ness though I'm not aware of it being used much in the last couple of weeks. For some reason it was often started up at 13:25 on Sundays just as I was finishing lunch right next to it...
I'm not sure how attractive it is for main line as I believe it needs TPWS fitted - it is also a heavyweight without train supply - it has been a reliable performer though.
The DRS engines (well one at least) do get a run every so often as well, and are a pleasant soundtrack whilst working. I do hope they find good homes...

wrt to other views, which I respect, I recall seeing D8300 (class 20) brand-new, out-of-the-box at York in 1967. They have run their course, paid back their capital, worked their shift. Let them rest in peace. Although my username harks back to 45533 patriot class in 1959, my first definite railway memory, we need to go with the flow of progress lest the mainline become a heritage museum.
