Just a quick question, would it be as part of a loco movement for other workings that a flask train came through Carlisle this morning at 7am hauled by 66304,430, with 37194 and 37667. I know they always double up on the locos but I have never seen one before with 4 locos hauling 1 flask.

That would be the most logical answer, to prepare for movements later that day, or a return from maintenance at Kingmoor.

DRS move locos in service flask trains quite frequently. 4 + engines are not uncommon.

Saw 4 class 37's just outside Warrington Bank Quay this morning hauling flasks. Must have been about 7.30am.
