Was anybody on the KGX-LDS (King's Cross - Leeds) train yesterday that called additionally at Finsbury Park and how often does an EC train stop at Finsbury Park? Would like to know.

No East Coast trains are booked to call at Finsbury Park, I can only guess it may have been covering for a cancelled FCC service or similar (hence the additional call at Stevenage too). Only FCC services are booked to call at Finsbury Park.

An earlier Kings Cross - Leeds failed in Copenhagen Tunnel, this was then rescued and taken to Finsbury Park where everyone was turfed off for a preceding Kings Cross - Leeds.

In the past, EC (and its predecessors) have terminated at Finsbury Park due to planned engineering work at King's Cross.
