East Coast Mallard stock

I went on an East Coast service on sunday, and it was the first time in 4 years I had been on a mallard-refurbsihed Mark 4. They are really superb, and the seats are as good as grammer seats. Who makes the seats and do any other TOCs use similar seats?

XC HSTs have the same seats in standard (different colour though).

Those seats in the Mallard, XC and FGW First class refurbishments were produced in corby by Primarius ltd.

It's been a very long time since I've been on an XC HST but I think you're probably right I do think the XC seats are a bit high density than on EC. Certainly I recall the feeling that the coach wasn't a spacious as it's EC equivalent.
