East Croydon - Victoria on May weekends?

There's no service because of engineering works between East Croydon and Victoria every weekend of May.

I have a GTR travel pass for all GTR services. Looks like I can go up to Blackfriars and take the tube to Victoria. Would my pass still be valid on the tube, as paid tickets are?

As far as I am aware, staff passes would be valid, as the railway are paying for all tickets to be passed. If your staff pass is on the Key, it may even work the Underground barriers. I know mine used to at Blackfriars (never tried it at Victoria)
