Not sure about that livery at all. Will be interesting to see what it looks like on other trains (and also if they have a mix of liveries like on SWT). At least they have a black roof though, always sensible on diesels or overhead electrics (due to carbon from the exhaust or pantograph getting all over the roof).
Other than that, not a lot new, most of the stuff has been known since they got the franchise. Do wonder what this extra off peak train every hour from St Pancras will do for reliability though, with little capacity at St Pancras itself (4 platforms allowing long layovers) and on the MML south of Bedford, and also where the stock will come from (I imagine it will just come from harder use of existing stock, almost certainly shorter layovers which always hurt reliability both by giving less recovery time when running late and preventing stepping forward of stock if a set is lost). As for journey time reductions, I presume this will come from cutting out some of the rediculous slack in the Meridien diagrams, although what they will do with the HSTs which have about the right slack I don't know, although they might re-timetable then to always run none stop from Leicester.
It also mentions extra weekday capacity on Liverpool to Norwich and other regional services. Wonder where the stock will come from for that? Also, what about weekends when particularly the former can be very busy, especially over the summer.
