Took a little tip out to the East Midlands on Tuesday, with another vistit to the GCR as well a while spent photting at Derby both before and after.

I saw these on Saturday as I was going down to Bristol. IIRC the 57 is 57001. Nice photos.

The 57 is the old Porterbrook purple/silver one - 57601. Yesterday I was at Derby station and the blue RFD 47 was on the rear of the 31/57 consist.

I was a Derby Yesterday too coming back from GCR. Saw the same line up near Platform 6 - Is that train with Fragonset or Portherbrook?
