Looks like some sort of jolly for a TOC
There is an un advertised train running from Eastbourne to Bath spa and return, originating ECS at Stewarts Lane.

I'd assume this is 67 + VSOE Stock + 67?
Does anyone have any idea whos Jolly this is and whether it is that nice caledonian sleeper and DB red 67?

Here are those tasty timings

And ecs comes from stew lane, then at bath goes to bristol depot ews.

Many thanks :) Its not often 67s come to the east coastway!

Funny place to start for a TOC day out. And I wonder why the rather convoluted route via Clapham Junction to Reading and then the Hants & Berks.

The Hants and Berks routing is because Swindon - Chippenham is closed due to engineering work.

OK. How about the South Western route from Clapham Jnc to Salisbury, then Westbury? I take the point about dining opportunities, although it would be a very extended brunch on the way! Any clues as to who is running it?
