Am currently on the 1740 KGX-PBO, stuck just north of Hadley Wood. Apparently an EC train has a smashed windsceen and passengers are being transferred.

Oh, on the move now, albeit at a crawl. Just a heads-up, anyway.

Just passed the broken train at PBR. Looks nasty - hope the driver is OK. Was an HST - not sure which service.

Reported on NRE as vandalism, so putting 2 and 2 together it looks like something may of been thrown from a bridge. Train involved is the 17.19 Kings Cross to Hull service - shown as terminating at Potters Bar on the East Coast website.

Ah, that makes sense. Looked like they were priming the 1733 KGX-HGT as the rescue service - seriously impressive recovery all-in, considering the potential severity of the incident.

Hope they catch those responsible, and that the driver needs no more than a stiff drink to recover.

Was reported by various drivers of youths throwing stones at trains at a overbridge between New Barnet and Hadley Wood,

1N27 17:30 Kings Cross to Newcastle reported to be calling at Potters Bar to pick up the detrained passengers off 1H10 17:19 Kings Cross to Hull which terminated at Potters Bar.

Also note FCC services are subjected to delay and cancellation due to 1D24 17:33 Kings Cross to Harrogate also picking up the detrained passengers.

And to make it even more fun, there's a trespasser sat on one of the lines at Alexandra Palace resulting in a total line blockade!

The stone throwers made a clean getaway, Police unable to find them :(

Also no one found at Alexandra Palace, :(

So everything is slowly getting back to what resembles a normal ECML evening!

I hear there is now a trespasser at Hadley Wood. This may be inaccurate, but if it is accurate, I do hope they get caught...

I hope the staff involved in the incidents tonight recover swiftly!

EDIT: NRE say there very recently was a trespasser in the Hadley Wood area, too.
