ECML Temple Hirst to Colton Junction

Does anybody know where I could find information about this newer section of the ECML? I need to know when it was opened, but would also like any other info too :)

Off the top of my head: mid 1980s, due to subsidence from the Selby coalfield on the original route via Escrick & Riccall.
