Does anybody know which type of unit operates the Edinburgh-Glasgow via Shotts service? Any help would be much appreciated. :)

I'm informed it's an all-stations 156...90 minutes of BR thrash in your head.

I'd take an MP3 player to block the engine thrash in your ears a bit. Or have a group conversation with 3 others to try and drown the engine out a bit. Unless 156s are your sort of thing!

Oh it aint for me, its for a friend who's up in Edinburgh at the moment. I don't generally find 156s too bad, but prefer 158s for long journeys.
