For example, a single from Forest Hill to Peckham Rye is now charged at the TfL rate, while West Croydon to Peckham Rye continues to be charged at the NR rate as Southern provide a direct service to the station and is not included as an alternative fare by touching a pink reader.
However, Forest Hill to Clapham Junction is now charged at the TfL rate, despite direct services from Southern on Mondays to Saturdays.
A journey from East Dulwich to Surrey Quays changing at Peckham Rye is charged at the Z2 NR rate.
