Hi everyone,
Seems surreal being back here.
Long story short - I sat stage 2 back in July 2020. I passed the WAFV, ATAVT and 2 hand co-ordination test. I came unstuck on the MMI test and ultimately failed stage 2 testing. Wounded.
I have since started a new job which I am enjoying. I have my 6 months probationary interview on Tuesday 23rd which I am currently prepping for. I am sure this will go fine, but I am putting in the work.
Out of the blue I got contacted on 17/03/21 by EMR to invite me to resit stage 2 on 24/03/21. An amazing and welcome surprise and an opportunity for which I am very grateful. I have managed to book the day off for 24/03/21 to attend.
Question is, will I be required to re-sit all of the tests or just the MMI and possibly SJE? Unfortunately EMR didn't seem entirely sure.
I want to be as well prepared as I can with the limited time I have, given as this is my 2nd and last shot. I am reluctantly minded to ask to be considered for stage 2 testing at a later date if I have to sit all stage 2 testing again as I want to be well prepared. If however I just need to sit the MMI and SJE again, I am happy to go ahead. As I said, I have a busy week prepping for the job I have and for the one I want.
Any help appreciated. Should I contact the OPC on Monday?
Thanks
