Well, Gillingham managed to turn out 2 465/9 units as promised
yesterday (I know, I can hardly believe it myself), but then went and
took the shine off it by taking 2 more out of service, so we are no
better off than yesterday!

Today's real vice plastic will be:-

12 VEP vice 8 465/9 + 2 466 - Should be 3568, 3450, 3545

The other units

3547 spare at Ashford

3449, 3487 held at Ashford for a 'Q' move to Ramsgate sometime this
afternoon - both off lease tonight.

These units COULD go out today as a 12 car rake if the stock
situation changes, but will have to be at Ramsgate by 23:59 tonight.

3565 stopped at Ramsgate, defective wheelset. Booked to go to Slade
Green on Monday or Tuesday for wheelset replacement on one bogie. I'm
imformed by Ramsgate that this WILL be done as the unit has a while
to go before it is stopped and the work will have to be done to allow
the unit to be taken for scrap.
