Just got an email from the EMU_Slam_Door_Page group...

Hello,

I am pleased to announce a major upgrade to the Suburban Electric Railway Association website at http://www.emus.co.uk .

The content has been greatly expanded with many new sections added in response to suggestions and requests from members and visitors, such as a photo gallery and news on active projects such as our 501 EMU rescue scheme and Class 457 restoration. The fleet history section now includes 2-EPB 6307 and 457 Vehicle 67300.

Please have a look for yourselves and any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Graeme Gleaves

That's a good idea !!

Another tempt is to ask - who wants to have a go ? Not many people get to drive a 70 year old electric loco and a dumper all in the same day.

It is hell on four wheels!!! Check out all the gen on it at http://www.emus.co.uk/spdn.htm

I'll be lucky if my intestines don't die from the torture the tablets I'm on for my leg (how they affect it I don't know) provide for it keep having their way...I WILL be back at Coventry eventually, just I'm already pre-booked on a holiday in Minehead from Friday until Monday. Will be back by the summer, that's pretty much for sure.
