ooh, hopefully some 377/2s might be put on! (prays for Vices )

Could someone please post the 455/456/319/377's units that are going
to work Derby services between London Bridge/Charing X/Victoria/East
Croydon/Purley-Tattenham Corner/Epsom Downs?. From what I gather, the
xx11 & 41 departures from Charing X will be running non-stop between
Purley - Tattenham, xx09 & 39 departures from London Bridge are
extended from Smitham - Tattenham, xx55 departures from Victoria are
divirted to Epsom Downs and xx15 & 45 from Victoria are divirted to
Tattenham Corner.

The signle track Epsom Downs branchline will be seeing intensive use then! Shame the old Epsom Downs station is no longer around with it's many platforms.

Waiting times will be extending at Sutton. the xx10 will be revised to depart 5 minutes later, allowing the xx05 from Epsom Downs to come in with the xx15 to Victoria. The extra service at xx41 will wait 4 minutes for the xx35 from Epsom Downs to come in to form the xx45 to Victoria.

Types of stock diagrammed to specific workings are planned a number of weeks in advance. Actual unit numbers will not be allocated until the morning of operation.

All other services are formed with a mix of 455 and 456 units - generally 4 car on the stopping services and 6 or 8 car on the fast services.

Please do remember that things may vary slightly before the day - and again on the day due to stock availability.
