Even Bigger Loco's

Saw a thread recently that showed some rather large Russian Loco's produced in the better half of the last century, although I cant remember where that thread was (even if it was on Railuk.org!)

Anyway I did some searching and found some even more monstrous creations that ruled the rails around the world:

And finally, everyone knows of the BigBoy Locomotive, but what about these beasts - HugeBoy!

Further more, everyone also knows of how the US loves to string loco's together on their trans-continental runs, well there are plans around on the net for some improvements in this area, using articulated slave loco's with cabs on at either end. Some with as many as 13 power units, acting as one overall Locomotive!

the russian ones were ALL catastrophic failures. Well thats what comes of making a diesel/steam loco!

We can do better than the huge boy. A hexaboy! Used for moving just about all of Europes rolling stock.

I got a book on Foster Yeoman somewhere, it's got a phot of the switcher in there, I'll dig it out..
